  • What workshops do you teach?
All workshops can be seen in the "Workshop" and "Event" section on this site.
  • Do I need to know how to sew to take your workshops?
No, all my workshops are beginner friendly. The best workshop to start with is the Basic 101 class, where I go over different thread, needles, and other important sewing tips and tricks along with how to operate your sewing machine.
  • Do I need a sewing machine to take your workshops?
No, I have machines you can borrow if you need one. Just let me know before class. I do go over my top sewing machine picks in the Basic 101 class before buying a machine.
  • Do you do alterations?
No, I don't do alterations. Alterations is a completely different skill set of sewing.
  • Do you teach kids?
I have taught kids in the past and only teach them privately at the moment. The youngest was 9 years old. Contact me for more "Sewing with kids" information.
  • Do you teach privately?
Yes, I teach private lessons and you can check out my pricing in the "Private" tab.
  • Can I bring a friend?
Yes! you can invite up to 4 other people creating a sewing party. These are great for holidays, birthdays or just for fun. Pricing and information will be in the private section and payment must be paid upfront to reserve your date and time.
  • Do you teach advanced sewing?
I teach what I know and most of my students are at a beginner level, meaning people who've never touched a sewing machine. Every student MUST go through the Basics 101 steps with me before I'll work on more advanced sewing skills. Then we can discuss where you'd like to go from there.
  • What can I expect to learn in a private lesson?
I teach the ABCs of sewing, first going through the Basic 101 information for the first lesson. Then you will pick a project from my workshop list. If you have a different project in mind, you can run it by me, but usually I stick with my workshop list.

How can I help you?
