Basics 101

If you've never used a sewing machine or have had a long break, this Basic 101 workshop is perfect! In this series, you will learn how to maintain your machine, identify essential sewing tools, wind your bobbin, thread your machine, and understand the straight and zig-zag stitch, while making your first project. In the first class, there will be a one-hour lecture covering the top three sewing rules, different types of needles, fabrics, interfacing, computerized versus mechanical machines, and how not to break the bank.
